What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide legal secretarial and administrative support to Partners and Associates in litigation
- Draft, proof, edit, and prepare legal documents and court filings while adhering to strict deadlines
- Coordinate scheduling for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
- Manage client billing processes and act as a liaison with the Accounting Department
- Maintain and organize legal correspondence and documents in both paper and electronic formats
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a legal secretary or executive assistant, preferably in a law firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong word processing skills; familiarity with Aderant Billing is a plus
- Ability to type 75 wpm with high accuracy
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and discretion
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with law firm billing processes
- Experience with MS365 and NetDocs document management system
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented and service-focused environment
- High degree of attention to detail and initiative to learn new skills
- Strong time management skills
