What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead, mentor, and develop foreign paralegal staff, ensuring consistency and quality in their work
- Independently craft and respond to discovery requests and develop tailored discovery strategies
- Prepare precise jury charges and draft petitions, complaints, and targeted discovery
- Review and analyze discovery records and gathered evidence, drafting motions to compel as necessary
- Proactively monitor court deadlines and manage the timely submission of legal documents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory
- Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience specializing in Texas Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law and Employment Law
- Proven ability to independently draft and respond to discovery requests
- Exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Capability to effectively train and supervise a team of junior and foreign paralegals
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with complex litigation cases
- Proficiency in crafting jury charges and aligning legal documents with case elements
- Previous experience in a fully remote working environment
