What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct detailed pre-suit reviews of insurance claims to assist in legal dispute defense
- Complete open litigation case file reviews in compliance with established best practices
- Participate in root cause analysis and technical advisory analysis for open and closed case files
- Serve as a subject matter expert resource for claims adjusting and legal strategy action plans
- Facilitate weekly discussions to identify areas for improvement and training opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of combined field and desk adjusting experience in residential property claims
- 4+ years of Florida first-party property litigation handling experience, including mediation and trial attendance
- Strong knowledge of property claims handling practices, cause of loss investigation, and legal terminology
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university or equivalent insurance background
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
