- 5 years experience in live event broadcasts and digital streaming
- Experience working with remote productions and field operations
- Strong understanding of broadcast technologies (video transport / routing, video servers, audio and video mixers, graphics, cameras, etc)
- Experience making feed bookings and creating event show-books
- Builds strong relationships with vendors and partners
- Ability to work under pressure and communicate clearly operational procedures and identify new processes to avoid manual error
- Great eye for detail and ability to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Thrives working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with ambiguity
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $102,000 and $212,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

The Live Operations Technical Manager provides support for Apple Live Operations, with a focus on Sports Production. This role will be responsible for working with internal and external crews and production teams to oversee the technical aspects of live production and distribution.Key QualificationsDescriptionThe AMP Video Partner Operations team is looking for a Live Operations Technical Manager to join our team to focus on live sports. In this role, you’ll work hands on to ensure the success of live experiences in the Apple TV app on Apple platforms and 3rd party TVs. You’ll be responsible for: Ownership of Live Events from pre-production through to post event, following up on issues and creating executive level summaries where needed Assessing workflow changes for increased reliability Working closely with engineering to ensure all equipment and workflows meet broadcast expectations Contributing to requirements for Live Operations equipment and facilities This role requires flexibility to work non-standard hours to support live events on evenings and weekends 30% Domestic Travel RequiredEducation & ExperienceBS / BA preferredAdditional RequirementsPay & BenefitsAbout the company
