  POSITION DETAILS:

  • Report to: Plant Manager
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Employment Category: Regular, Full-Time
  • Pay Range: $66,560 - $67,500
  • Location: Arvin, CA

  Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Familiar with common electrical and automation components, has a basic understanding of operational theory.
  • Capable of troubleshooting issues related to automated process control resulting in production downtime.
  • Able to identify production line bottlenecks.
  • Capable of implementing more efficient processes by applying lean manufacturing principles with an emphasis on automated solutions.
  • Understand HMI screens for process control
  • (not necessary but preferred) Ability to interpret one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis, able to analyze and problem solve.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, familiar with OSHA, NFPA, ISA, NEMA and IEC standards and regulations
  • Uphold quality standards

  Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Vocational or associate degree in technical field
  • Ability to comprehend, read, write and communicate proficiently in English
  Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related focus
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation products
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Food and Beverage background
