- Oversee demand and supply planning function for a complex and diverse set of materials exceeding $50M in annual throughput.
- Develop material demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons.
- Review and release purchase requisitions, initiate stock transfers, and expedite with vendors as needed to meet project start dates.
- Closely coordinate and communicate allocation plans in the event of material shortages.
- Provide off hours material procurement and expediting support during storms and other emergencies.
- Interact with program management, construction, and business finance organizations regularly to identify forecast drivers, refresh assumptions, and build consensus.
- Maintain SAP planning parameters in alignment with forecasts that achieve target fill rate and inventory turnover performance.
- Coach peers in advanced planning concepts and lead complex continuous improvement efforts utilizing lean six sigma tools.
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP, APO, Oracle Demand Planning, or other software related to demand planning is preferred. Intermediate knowledge of lean six sigma concepts and tools is preferred.
- This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the material planning process.
- Strong Excel knowledge and experience, especially with VLOOKUP,Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, General Formulas, Shortcut Keys.
- Master’s Degree in job related discipline or equivalent experience.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
A reasonable salary range is:
California Minimum: $76,000
California Maximum: $114,000
Bay Area Minimum: $ 80,000
Bay Area Maximum: $120,000
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and based on business needs.
