What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive education, access, and adoption of Neurocrine products in post-acute and long-term care settings
- Execute sales force strategies and marketing plans to achieve sales objectives
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including prescribers and internal facility partners
- Navigate clinical, regulatory, and reimbursement barriers to ensure successful product implementation
- Develop and implement detailed account plans for assigned facilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree in science or related field and 4+ years of commercial pharma/biotech experience, including 3+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care sales
- Strong sales and account management skills with exceptional communication abilities
- Proven track record of sales performance and goal achievement
- Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance environments
- Must reside within assigned territory and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Sales experience in long-term care or institutional settings
- Background in neurology, psychiatry, or movement disorders
- Familiarity with CoverMyMeds and long-term care pharmacy fulfillment
- Knowledge of CMS guidelines affecting psychotropic medication use in skilled nursing facilities
