What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage a queue of delinquent accounts 80+ days past due, ensuring all account activity is properly documented
- Handle inbound and outbound calls as necessary to resolve account issues
- Participate in coaching and development sessions to enhance individual and team performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-2 years of collection or relevant experience (automotive preferred)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet productivity goals
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in late-stage collections
- Bachelor’s degree
- Skip tracing skills using various tools
- Strong listening skills to understand directions and customer needs
