What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage a queue of delinquent accounts 80+ days past due, handling inbound and outbound calls as necessary
- Document all account activity according to department standards and adhere to effective queue management practices
- Participate in coaching and development sessions to enhance individual and team performance
- Collaborate cross-divisionally to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-2 years of collection or relevant experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- High school graduate or GED equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet productivity and goal requirements
- Strong negotiation skills to facilitate mutually beneficial arrangements with customers
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in late-stage collections
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate thoughts clearly to peers and customers
- Strong listening skills to understand directions and customer needs
- Experience with skip tracing tools
