What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound calls from patients, patient representatives, providers, and other medical staff
- Assist callers with appointment scheduling, general facility and provider information, and medical records requests
- Verify and update patient information in the clinical information system
- Document all calls and actions taken within core systems thoroughly
- Contact patients for appointment reminders and coordinate special outbound call campaigns
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current unrestricted Florida LPN license or compact license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment with direct customer contact
- Ability to adhere to established advanced protocols for handling incoming contacts
- Strong communication skills to respond appropriately to patient inquiries
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a medical office setting
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to navigate computer systems for data entry and screen navigation
- Knowledge of community resources to assist patients with non-medical needs
