  Salary: $25 - $35 / per hour

  Maxim Healthcare in the North Houston area is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. (Spring, Houston, Aldine, Humble, Conroe, Cypress, Tomball, Bryan, New Caney, Channelview, Splendora & more)

  Description:
  We are looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate nurse to join us in serving lives through one-on-one patient care in a home environment. Maxim offers comprehensive training to all of our nurses, including new graduates, to ensure our caregivers are able to provide exceptional services and quality of life strategies, while building their own experience and professional growth.
  
  

  Position Details:

  The essential nursing tasks for this patient may include:

  • Enteral Feed/Feeding Tube Management
  • Tracheostomy Care (Training Provided)
  • Ventilator Management (Training Provided)

  Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
  • Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psycho-social changes in the patient’s condition
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses
  • Other Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) duties as assigned

  Qualifications:

  • Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) state in which the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) practices
  • Current Health Certificate - completed within the last 6 months
  • Current BLS card
  • PPD test, or Chest X-ray completed within the last year (available in office if needed)
  • Reliable transportation
  • One year prior Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)) experience is preferred, but not required
