What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform computer data entry of prescription orders and medical records
- Contact physician's offices for refill authorizations and verify orders with clients
- Process new and refill prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards
- Document correspondence and follow up in the system
- Provide high standards of customer service by answering incoming calls promptly
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements
- Experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred
- Familiarity with Frameworks and Docutrack software preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum of one year of pharmacy data entry experience
- Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology
