Salary: £52,084 - £57,344
What you’ll be doing:
· Responsible for the Engineering development and engineering lifecycle activities of Work Experience (WE) with a view to take a lead role in WE engineering development.
· Responsible for working with and managing multiple suppliers in their contribution to the overall WE Programme (WEP) for both WE development and delivery, whilst BAE Systems UK hold overall design responsibility.
· Responsible for managing direct reports.
· Responsible for producing customer facing briefing material and supporting engineering discussions and workshops in UK locations and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as required.
· Responsible for the definition of the WE requirements set, WE maturity and management and the co-ordination of WEP engineering reviews
Your skills and experiences:
· Experience of training development programmes
· Relevant lifecycle experience gained on an engineering project
· An ability to develop and present a range of complex data to a variety of stakeholders
· Experience in liaising and managing customer and supplier relationships would be highly desirable
· Knowledge or experience of defence training standards / frameworks, e.g. Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) / JSP 822 would be highly desirable
· A degree in engineering or relevant subject to EW, or equivalent experience to offset would be desirable

The Localising Typhoon Electronic Warfare Programming Project:
As a part of a customer focused team, you will be heavily involved in and lead key aspects of a significant, technically orientated training solution design and delivery work package within the Electronic Warfare (EW) Mission Data domain for our customer. The role facilitates a broad view of the engineering product and service lifecycles, combined with the opportunity to develop in or become a specialist in a highly sought after engineering field of expertise (Systems Engineering / Electronic Warfare / Mission Data).
