      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Operates and monitors machinery to ensure tortillas are produced according to company quality requirements and output
      • Monitors machinery to ensure tortillas are produced according to company quality requirements.
      • Adjust machine to ensure tortilla production output contains a minimal amount of out of specification product.
      • Operate machine in compliance with safety standards.
      • Perform safety inspection of machine before, during and after operation
      • Make adjustments to equipment as needed to production flowing without minimal interruption
      • Calculate weight and check against standards, report findings
      • Responsible for the general equipment cleaning.
      • Must perform machine & mixer operation with minimal waste.
      • Perform work in a fast pace environment and maintain production requirements
      • Maintain knowledge, understanding and adhere to safety policies, USDA, GMP’s, QA, HACCP, Sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies.
      • Operates and monitor dough mixers.
      • Adds ingredients necessary to produce dough
      • Uses tools to remove dough from mixer during production process
      • Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
      • Perform all other duties as assigned.

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Must be able to communicate verbally and read and write in English.
      • Must pass company Math test with a 75% score or better.
      • Must possess basic knowledge of tool use.
      • Must go through internal training to be certified as Machine Operator.
