Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

· Translate requirements into technical solutions and estimate the level of effort needed to implement them.

· Support the delivery of developed implementations, conduct peer code reviews, and share best practices.

· Mentor junior level engineers to encourage continuous learning and development.

· Possess a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and computer science foundations.

· Offer practical experience to enhance the team's skills in constructing scalable web applications with optimal memory management, performance, and scalability.

· Demonstrate knowledge of modern, efficient web-based development and responsive design techniques.

· Work with embedded testers to build and execute automated testing processes to ensure high-quality code

· Possess experience in consulting and working with Project Management teams.

· Thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment, demonstrating a thirst for knowledge and an abundance of curiosity.

· Participate in elaboration sessions with clients to understand their vision and requirements, creating a functional design document (FDD).

· Produce detailed design documentation, unit test plans, and well-documented code artifacts to ensure clear communication and maintainability.\Attend stand-up meetings, report technical blockers, and attend sprint planning and retrospective meetings for efficient project management.

Key Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a comparable major, or a combination of education and experience.

· Experience: Proficient in Adobe Commerce (Magento) 2

· Proficient in PHP-7 & PHP-8, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Prototype, XML, Web-Services/WCF, and Web API Restful services

· Knowledgeable in Payment gateways such as First Data, Amazon Pay, PayPal etc.

· Experienced in integrating with 3rd party solutions like Shipping, Tax, and Address Scrub.

· Experienced in full life-cycle development using the Agile/Scrum project approach.

· Knowledgeable in version control systems and web development.

· Experienced in team lead roles leading offshore development teams.

· Experienced in estimating and project planning.

· Possess a strong foundation in Computer Science, with excellent competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong attention to details.
