- Req#: R2048129
- Supports EH&S engagement, particularly in the field and in the areas of personal safety and compliance.
- Provides a clear focus on creating a highly reliable organizational culture and the elimination of unplanned events by implementing reliability and maintenance services and solutions.
- Provides coaching and feedback to other maintenance planner team members.
- Implements and provides on-going support of the Maintenance Planning Procedure Use Policy. Ensures that all maintenance employees comply with all applicable elements of the policy.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory) plus maintenance, engineering, manufacturing or related experience required.
- Min 5+ years of relevant experience with Operations/ Maintenance of large chemical/ Petro-Chemical plants.
- Expertise in SAP Maintenance Modules (PM) with minimum 6 years Hands-on experience.
- Expertise in Primavera P6/ SAP Prometheus with minimum 4 years Hands-on experience.
- Comfortable to collaborate with Diverse Culture & Multinational Site Teams.
- Should be flexible in work timing to match the US or EU time zone Site work timing. (Min 4 Hours Overlap of work time)

About you and this role
Dow is looking for Maintenance & Turn Around - Planning Engineer to be located in Chennai, India.
Shares responsibility and accountability for the plant assets, personnel, and achievement of the plant related business goals. Provides functional support/ leadership to group of remote maintenance Planners. May function as a liaison to supplement and support other maintenance areas, such as maintenance activity coordination, when gaps exist between maintenance and other functions. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
