We’re seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Maintenance & Engineering Assistant to help keep our community safe, clean, and welcoming for all who call it home.

      What You’ll Do

      As a Maintenance & Engineering Assistant, you’ll work closely with our Director of Engineering to support daily maintenance operations, ensure high standards for safety and cleanliness, and contribute to the overall comfort of our residents.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Perform routine maintenance and repair work in resident apartments and common areas

      • Prepare vacant units for new residents (painting, minor repairs, carpet care)

      • Assist in maintaining community grounds and outdoor spaces

      • Serve as a back-up driver for resident transportation (including wheelchair assistance as needed)

      • Support setup/cleanup for special events and community activities

      • Maintain community vehicles and tools; report and document maintenance issues

      • Uphold all safety protocols, health regulations, and resident rights at all times

      What We’re Looking For

      Required:

      • 1+ year experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or landscaping

      • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general repairs

      • Compassion for seniors and desire to work in a service-focused environment

      • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills

      • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

      • Ability to lift, move, and perform physical duties as required

      Preferred:

      • Experience in senior living or healthcare settings

      • CPR/First Aid & Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain)

      • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel

      • Groundskeeping experience and/or landscape maintenance skills a plus
