  Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, with various start times-various end times

  Hourly Rate: $30.72 an hour + $.45 shift differential

  Conagra Brands is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic Technician at the Fort Madison, IA manufacturing plant! You will report to the Maintenance Manager. The openings will be on 2nd or 3rd shift. Conagra offers you a starting wage of $30.72 per hour and advancing to $32.65per hour in 24 months or less with opportunities to earn up to $37.51 per hour. Conagra offers shift differentials of $0.45 for 2nd and $1.00 for 3rd.

  You Will:

  • Repair and maintain all assigned machinery

  • Troubleshoot machinery, analyze, and implement corrective procedures

  • Ensure efficient operation of all production lines including mechanical services

  • Provide operator training in safety, set-up, and changeover

  • Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety procedures

  • Create and close out work orders and add specs info to SAP system

  • Work shift schedules including overtime

  You Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Three years of prior mechanical experience; two year technical degree preferred

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
