Job Description
- Req#: 5152494
- Commercial kitchen refrigerant unit repair (coolers, freezers, reach in coolers/warmers)
- Diagnose and repair roof top package units as well as split systems
- Lead unit change outs when needed
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks in a variety of areas as assigned
- Perform regular inspections of equipment and systems
- Keep a log of maintenance functions and repairs performed
- Safely operate and maintain all tools and equipment necessary to carry out job responsibilities
- Ensure work sites and conditions are safe
- Display ethical and professional behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel and outside agencies associated with the school district
- HVAC license required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Clean background checks and driving record
- Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Be able to stand on various surfaces for long periods of time
- Be able to walk long distances around school properties
- Be able to lean, reach, bend, lift, crouch, kneel and squat
- Be able to walk up and down stairs of various levels
- Be able to climb up and down ladders of various heights including roof access
- Be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs
- Be able to work overhead comfortably for various lengths of time
- Be able to work with effectively with hand tools
- Be outside in all weather conditions to complete jobs
