      About the Position:

      Support and lead efforts to ensure that all equipment, facilities, and processes meet required safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, while monitoring engineering maintenance expenses and staying within budget. Provide engineering and maintenance teams with the guidance and technical support needed to design, install, modify, and maintain plant equipment and facilities—enabling production to operate efficiently and deliver top-quality products at the lowest possible cost.

      Job Duties:

      • Perform activities involving continuous improvement tools, analysis of product irregularities, recommending solutions & facilitating cost down initiatives related to improve product costs. These duties would include assisting in training & instructions of appropriate team members & day-to-day floor support.
      • Assist in identification of unacceptable performance through analysis & acquired technical knowledge of the product & process including waste & cost reduction.
      • Assist in & learn process for prepare cost eliminates, financially justifying project, prepare budgets, review design, supervise installation & commissioning. Assist in research of new equipment, systems & processes to advance plant operations.
      • Gain understanding & assist to ensure safety, environmental & other regulatory compliances by working with appropriate associates on EHS issues, following the implementation of MSR’s & improving the communication across all relevant departments.
      • Participate in contractor management process & periodically assist with & contractor’s work to ensure that safe work practices & standards operating procedures are followed.

      Education:

      Bachelor's Degree in related field or relevant technical certification.

      Experience:

      2+ years’ experience working with multidisciplinary engineering & maintenance associates to achieve cost effective goals.

      Skills and Abilities:

      • Ability to understand electrical & mechanical diagrams, interpret CAD drawings, interpret programming languages, modify modern safety control systems & troubleshoot machine problems.
      • Ability to use appropriate computer-based technology.
      • Knowledge of electrical control systems.
