- Troubleshoot electrically with 480v, 3-phase motors, VFD's, sensors, relays, and circuits.
- Troubleshoot mechanically with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, bearings, gears, and motors.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
- Work with assembly equipment, conveyors, automatic welders, stamping presses, and powder coating lines.
- Assist in the transition and implementation of automation lines and robotics.
- 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience, including 480-v, 3-phase, relays, sensors, and circuits.
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, bearings, gears, and motors.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
- Experience in preventive maintenance.
- Self-motivated and able to stay on task.
- Powder coating experience.
- PLC experience.
- Ability to interpret ladder logic.
1st Shift Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. You will work with a variety of equipment, including assembly equipment, conveyors, automatic welders, stamping presses, and occasionally a powder coating line. This role requires a well-rounded, multi-craft technician who is skilled in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

Work Environment
This position offers a choice between two shifts: 1st shift from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. Saturday work is very rare.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia City, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
