      Maintenance Technician

      Weber Enterprises, Inc., a family-owned and operated Taco Bell franchise, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to keep our restaurants running smoothly. This role is perfect for a skilled technician who thrives working independently, responds with urgency, and takes pride in delivering top-notch service.

      As a key problem-solver, you’ll travel between locations, handling maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and more. Strong commercial maintenance experience is essential, and HVAC expertise is a big plus. You’ll work directly with restaurant teams, ensuring a clean, safe, and fully functional environment for both employees and guests.

      JOB DETAILS:

      • Hours: Full-time hours including some nights and weekends as needed
      • Location: Medford/Grants Pass based, with travel to neighboring counties
      • Competitive Pay: $26.00 per hour to $31.00 per hour depending on skills and qualifications

      ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

      • Perform routine maintenance and repair on a wide range of restaurant equipment, including fryers, grills, refrigeration units, and HVAC systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
      • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and facilities to proactively identify potential maintenance issues and resolve them efficiently.
      • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, dining spaces, and restrooms, upholding strict compliance with health and safety standards.
      • Collaborate with above-store leaders and development teams to coordinate and execute repairs and maintenance projects effectively.
      • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including accurate repair logs, to ensure traceability and accountability.
      • Actively participate in team meetings, fostering clear communication with restaurant managers and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.

      TRAVEL:

      This position in the Medford/Grants Pass area and requires extensive travel to restaurant locations throughout Jackson, Josephine, Douglas, and Coos Counties using a company-provided vehicle.


      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Three (3) years of experience in maintenance and repair of commercial restaurant equipment
      • Comfortable using hand and power tools
      • Technical and mechanical knowledge, with strong problem-solving skills
      • Can read and follow verbal/written instructions, demonstrating attention to detail
      • Can work independently and with team using strong communication and interpersonal skills
      • Commitment to providing excellent service to customers, peers, and leadership
      • Valid Oregon Driver’s License and ability to pass motor vehicle report
      • Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs repetitively, using hand and power tools, and climbing ladders, and standing/walking for extended periods of time

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Experience working on any of the following commercial equipment brands: Pitco, Trane, Frymaster, Delfield, Proluxe, Traulsen, and Starr
      • HVAC Certification

      • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds; constantly lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
      • Must be able to frequently push and pull up to 20 pounds.
      • Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, overhead lifting, and work on ladders required.
      • Constant reaching and grasping are required.
      • Repetitive use of both hands and feet required.
