      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Coordinate the processing of all payer contracts and amendments, ensuring timely execution and adherence to business terms
      - Analyze the financial and operational impact of procedural changes implemented by payers
      - Develop and maintain contracting decision-making and tracking tools
      - Create model contracts or contract language for proposing amendments to payers
      - Provide problem-solving support to affiliates and departments, ensuring effective communication with payers

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree
      - Minimum of 5 years of managed care experience, preferably in a contracting or provider relations role
      - In lieu of managed care experience, five years of experience in healthcare administration, health insurance, or provider contracting
      - Knowledge of the health insurance industry, specifically managed care contracting operations and negotiation techniques
      - Strong analytical and communication skills

      - Experience in healthcare administration or provider relations beyond the required five years
      - Proven track record of successful contract negotiations
      - Familiarity with healthcare compliance regulations
      - Experience with contract management software or tools
