      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist the Store Manager in achieving optimal financial performance while exceeding customer expectations
      - Monitor daily store performance and collaborate with the Store Manager on business unit objectives
      - Ensure compliance with hiring, benefits administration, and labor laws
      - Foster a culture of open communication and positive morale among staff
      - Manage staffing levels and associate development to uphold company values

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree or minimum of 2 years related experience; supervisory experience preferred
      - General knowledge of key retail metrics and consumer/product trends
      - Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, inventory, and POS software
      - Demonstrated ability to lead and develop associates effectively

      - Experience in a retail environment, particularly in garden and home centers
      - Strong analytical skills to influence others and drive results
      - Proven organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently
      - Ability to support other store locations as needed
