      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide administrative and programmatic support for a VA Research Office
      - Process research proposals involving animal subjects and hazardous materials
      - Coordinate communication between various research committees and provide regulatory guidance
      - Conduct database administration, audits, and project tracking through IRBNet
      - Provide training on IRBNet to VA research staff and respond to regulatory inquiries

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in health administration, public health, biomedical sciences, or a related field
      - 4+ years of relevant project management, research, and/or IRB experience in a healthcare environment
      - Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
      - Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
      - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with VA/DoD and knowledge of military populations
      - Advanced knowledge of IRB functions and related safety regulations
      - Active Certified IRB Professional (CIP) certification (or equivalent) is desired
      - Familiarity with research management software, particularly IRBNet, and Microsoft Office suite
      - Strong presentation and training skills
