      Position Summary & Responsibilities

      This is a position in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Manager of Accounts Payable & Accounting will report to the Senior Manager, Billing and Accounting Operations. The Manager must be an organized and proficient individual who will contribute towards increased accuracy and efficiency of invoice processing, cash forecasting and the AP Accrual processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen eye for detail, have large scale experience in P2P, and have previous experience working with Vendors and Coupa as well as in the ERP systems. This candidate must display the ability to work independently and confidently and can handle escalations in a timely manner as well knowing when escalation is necessary and be a strong partner with the business as well as vendors. This candidate will be able to efficiently and effectively manage all Accounts Payables activity.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Generate and distribute daily assignments
      • Support the AP team with processing vendor invoices, reconciling vendor statements, ensure proper accounting coding, and work with the business to resolve PO discrepancies as needed
      • Monitor vendor invoice approval process
      • Ensure day-to-day tasks are completed by the AP Associates in order to meet processing deadlines and close the calendar
      • Manage external and internal escalations
      • Develop, document, and publish processes for the department
      • Generate and distribute invoice aging reports to upper management
      • Generate and analyze month end close reports
      • Support the team with vendor statements reconciliation, research, and resolve discrepancies
      • Provide excellent customer service to vendors and employees by resolving questions and issues quickly and accurately
      • Develop and execute training plans for the department
      • Assist with other special projects, as needed
      • Identify and escalate system issues to Digital (integration failures, etc.) as needed

      Requirements:

      1. Significant experience with an AP/Procurement application such as Coupa, Ariba, or other is required

      2. Substantial experience in Purchasing and/or AP in an ERP

      3. GL reconciliation experience required


      Preferred Qualifications:
      1. High school diploma, Business or Accounting degree
      2. 5+ years Accounting, AP, Procurement and/or other equivalent relevant experience

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $85,000.00 - $126,250.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
