Manage all business analytics, process, control, and reporting for multi program Operating Unit
Develop and maintain monthly financial forecasts for business areas
Partner with leadership to translate organizational objectives and strategies into program level tactics
Lead team of program control professionals; staffing, performance management, morale, and professional development activities
Build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external and customers
Implement and manage program Estimates at Completion in accordance with contractual requirements
Successful execution of program financial performance, including tracking and management of customer funds, cost performance, cash flow, and risk/opps accounting
Collaborate with business development and capture teams on proposal development for the IDS OU, including review of RFP, pricing/execution strategies, basis of estimates and cash flow management analysis
Maintain compliance with all NGC policies, internal controls, and disclosed practices
Lead annual operating plan development for assigned business area/s
This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider one of following:
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 14 years of applied finance, accounting, or program control or related experience
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years applied finance, accounting, or program control or related experience
Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years applied finance, accounting, or program control or related experience
Proficient with Earned Value Management Guidelines and Execution
Strong financial forecast acumen (Income Statement and Balance Sheet)
Experience with COBRA/SAP/Precision/Cognos
MS Office tools including Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, conditional formatting, and most of the advanced features/functions)
Aptitude to assess complex business equations and drive business solutions
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Must be able to work on-site in Huntsville, AL
Previous Aerospace/Defense Industry experience with strong understanding of USGA Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations- FAR
Level 1 EVMS Experience
Experience with Business Case Analysis (ROI & RONA)
Previous Management Experience
Strong Brief Development & Delivery Skills

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Business Management Manager 2 within the Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Operating Unit within the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Missile Defense (C4MD) Business Unit. This position is located on-site in Huntsville, AL. There is no full time remote/hybrid telework is available for this position.
As a Business Management Manager 2, your main responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of business analytics, process control, and reporting for a multi-program Operating Unit. You will work closely with leadership to align organizational objectives and strategies with program-level tactics. Additionally, you will lead a team of program control professionals, handling staffing, performance management, morale, and professional development activities. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers is crucial, as is implementing and managing program Estimates at Completion (EAC) in accordance with contractual requirements. Successful execution of program financial performance, including tracking and managing customer funds, cost performance, cash flow, and risk/opportunity accounting, is also a key aspect of this role. Collaboration with business development and capture teams on proposal development for the IDS OU, including reviewing RFPs, pricing/execution strategies, basis of estimates, and cash flow management analysis, is expected. Lastly, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with all NGC policies, internal controls, and disclosed practices, as well as leading the annual operating plan development for your assigned business area/s.
