      The Manager, Carrier Sales, will work closely with the Senior Manager managing key Carrier accounts and be responsible for meeting quarterly and annual sales targets; deploying quarterly and annual plans, programs and policies for budget allocation/monitoring.

      This role will be responsible for engaging customers in order to grow relationships, achieve revenue, profit and market share targets; all while developing and growing the Samsung brand with their designated accounts.
      The Manager, Carrier Sales, will be responsible for having extensive knowledge of the competitive landscape and carrier trends, understand our SWOT relative to the carrier, and determine the promo mix that will be successful. In particular, the role manages pricing and pricing related programs. The role is also accountable for ensuring that contracts are up to date and operational.
      The role also oversees and manages the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual market share tracking, planning and forecast processes. The role creates the forecast scenarios, and ensures that plans are aligned to these scenarios.
      This position will work closely with cross-functional team such as Product team, SCM, Finance, business operation team and Merchandizing/Field team. Incumbent is responsible to analyze monthly sales target, market share, business programs/results, monthly finance/SD reconciliation.

      Responsibilities will also include the monitoring of key operational processes, such as SCM and CMF, to make sure that plans are being executed at an operational level.       Role and Responsibilities

      • Responsible for building sales growth opportunities; develop and research an opportunity pipeline and execute new sales prospects.
      • Meet regularly with existing customers to effectively qualify opportunities and communicate Samsung’s vision.
      • Accountable for leading the creation of the quarterly account plan with the Account Director (which includes; initiatives, objectives, marketing spend alignment, SCM alignment).
      • Responsible for the HHP sales with other categories sales.
      • Manager the design and execution of successful sales techniques/strategies/tactics from customer and market feedback.
      • Develop performance of assigned accounts B2C sales; which includes development and execution of dealer programs and promotions.
      • Work closely with the carrier and SECA Product Management team to create, customize and execute sales program and promotions.
      • Work with Account Director to determine line-up strategy and Product Life Cycle (launch, EOL).
      • Gather Weekly sell-out/sell-thru analysis: Product/Channel/Region.
      • Quarterly in-house market share analysis.
      • Participate and provide input into Carrier QBR (Quarterly Business Review) and JBP (Joint Business Planning) coordination.
      • Revenue forecast – submits CMF details for consolidation by business planning.
      • Sales deduction budget management and administration: LOA, CORES, Invoice, Backup verification and Closing.
      • Supply Chain Management coordination -Priority/Consensus planning with team members.
      • Focus to grow the account business portfolio including the strategy development, program execution to achieve account quarterly sales target .
      • Align with reporting manager on overall account strategy and programs.
      • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to maximize sales revenue within the Canadian carrier market.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives, channel strategies, and marketing efforts to achieve revenue targets.
      • Review and analyze market data with team, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify areas for growth and differentiate our products and services in the market.
      • Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas within the carrier market, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to capture market share.
      • Support Senior Manager to manage business with carriers and product manager, including pricing, sales volume commitments, product placement, and promotional activities.
      • Jointly develop and manage sales and revenue forecasts, budgets, and targets for the carrier segment, and regularly report on performance.
      • Work with SCM on inventory planning to achieve objectives on revenue target, weekly sales target, weekly PSI and clear aging inventory.
      • Manage account sales program with internal and external teams; monthly budget reconciliation process and related tasks.
      • Ad-hoc reports and projects as needed.

      Skills and Qualifications

      Education/Knowledge/ Experience:

      • Bachelors Degree.
      • A minimum of 5 years related working experience preferred.
      • Wireless Industry background is preferred.
      • Strong analytical skills.
      • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
      • The ability to plan, organize, collaborate on and measure the effectiveness and results of all programs and projects as required.
      • The ability to negotiate with and internal stakeholders on program proposals and plans.
      • Ability to motivate and guide the activities to manage product sales performance with the sales team.
      • The ability to develop tasks, to ensure process compliance.
      • Ability to manage budgets and determine ROI.
      • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
