      The Manager, Content Development is critical to creating compelling content that resonates with the higher education community, including senior leaders such as institution presidents, provosts, administrators, faculty, and students. This individual will report to the Senior Manager of Integrated Marketing and will be responsible for developing and executing the content development strategy in accordance with each stage of the buyer journey from awareness, consideration, decision, renewals, and advocacy.

      Primary responsibilities will include:

      • Coordinat ing and oversee ing a team of content creators to produce high-quality, engaging content that meets organizational goals and audience needs.
      • Ensur ing consistency in messaging and branding by aligning content with marketing guidelines and collaborating closely with the marketing team
      • Maintain ing and manag ing the editorial calendar to ensure timely content delivery across all stages of the buyer’s journey
      • Gather ing and prioritiz ing content requests from internal teams such as field marketing, sales, and product marketing, to develop materials that support their initiatives
      • Oversee ing the end-to-end content creation process, working with subject matter experts to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld
      • Track ing content performance metrics and apply insights to refine content execution and effectiveness
      • Facilitat ing cross-functional collaboration by coordinating editorial board meetings and clarifying roles and responsibilities across teams
      • Organiz ing and maintain ing a structured content library that is easily accessible to sales, customer success, and marketing, in alignment with the sales enablement team

      The Candidate:

      Required skills/qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Communications, Journalism, or a related field
      • 5 - 8 years of experience in content marketing, preferably in the higher education sector
      • Proven record of accomplishment of developing successful content strategies that drive engagement and conversions
      • Strong leadership and team management skills
      • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt style and tone for different audiences
      • Proficiency with content management systems and analytics tools, including Asana and Smartsheet
      • Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing trends
      • Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above

      Preferred skills/qualifications:

      Master's degree in Marketing , Communications, Journalism, or a related field
