      What will your typical day look like?

      • Manage Deloitte Canada’s event technology stack (i.e., Cvent, SpotMe, OnArrival, Attendee Hub), developing and maintaining governance structures to support business needs.
      • Manage software implementations, system integrations and event technology-focused projects in collaboration with IT organization.
      • Facilitate requirement gathering and alignment with business and technology partners, while leading various initiatives as a project manager.
      • Advise on system and tools usage, identifying opportunities for adoption and how technology solves business problems.
      • Create and maintain system processes for efficiency by demonstrating solid understanding of business objectives, including production of documentation such as playbooks, workflows, and training materials.
      • Oversee event technology vendor management, supporting with contract renewals, monitoring service level agreements and enterprise account usage.
      • Regular management and oversight of team activities, including performance management of team members, running weekly check-ins with direct reports.
      • Support with the production of high-profile virtual events, acting as the event technology SME, collaborating in the build and development of complex web and mobile applications.
      • Cultivate relationships across the Events, Marketing and Learning portfolios as well as other teams and functions across the greater organization.
      • Stay well-informed of developments in the event technology landscape, researching emerging and innovative tools, industry trends and best practices.

      About the team

      Deloitte is seeking a manager with proven experience in event technology and strong project management skills. The successful candidate will oversee our event tech stack to enable virtual, in-person and hybrid events and learning programs, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors. You will lead the planning processes and implementation of event technology and manage a team of resources responsible for deliveries such as event registration and mobile app experience.

      Qualifications:
      • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, event technology, program development and/or event management.
      • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Communications, Event Management, Marketing, or another related program.
      • Proficiency in Cvent (System Administrator Certification required).
      • Prior experience with other event platforms and technologies, live streaming tools, mobile applications, and other onsite tools (e.g., mobile check-in, RFID).
      • Experience with managing a team and/or overseeing resourcing and project assignment.
      • Excellent MS Office skills, with advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and general reporting/data management skills.
      • Extremely detail-oriented, proactive, with the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple, concurrent projects with timelines.
      • Demonstrated ability to communicate technology related information and clearly detail implementation processes.

      *Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, English is required for this position.
