      Description

      Role Purpose:

      The Business Process Excellence Manager, specializing in Oracle EPM and Record-to-Report processes, focuses on optimizing financial planning, consolidation, and reporting. This role leverages Oracle EPM solutions alongside local ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Adage, Infor M3, and Softline to enhance the Record-to-Report (R2R) cycle.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Analyze and optimize the R2R process using Oracle EPM and local ERP systems like JD Edwards, Adage, Infor M3, and Softline.
      • Partner with the Information Technology team to ensure seamless integration of Oracle EPM solutions with local ERP systems to streamline financial reporting and closing processes.
      • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to align Oracle EPM and local ERP tools with R2R best practices.
      • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the R2R cycle across multiple ERP platforms.
      • Provide training and support on Oracle EPM and local ERP systems for R2R processes.
      • Stay updated on the latest Oracle EPM developments and incorporate them into the R2R strategy.

      Qualifications

      Education and/or Experience:

      Required:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
      • Proven experience with Oracle EPM and familiarity with local ERP systems like JD Edwards, Adage, Infor M3, and Softline.
      • Certifications in Oracle EPM or related systems are a plus.
      • Strong analytical skills and experience in financial process improvement across multiple ERP platforms.
      • Ability to troubleshoot process failures and work with interested parties to identify and resolve root causes.

      Competencies and Proficiency Requirements:

      Process Optimization & Analysis

      • Deep understanding of the Record-to-Report (R2R) cycle
      • Ability to analyze and streamline financial planning, consolidation, and reporting processes

      Technical Expertise

      • Proficiency in Oracle EPM and integration with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Adage, Infor M3, and Softline
      • Familiarity with financial systems architecture and data flow

      Cross-Functional Collaboration

      • Strong partnership skills with IT and Finance teams
      • Ability to align tools and processes with business goals and best practices

      Performance Measurement

      • Experience developing and monitoring KPIs specific to financial processes
      • Ability to use metrics to drive continuous improvement

      Training & Support

      • Capability to educate and support users on Oracle EPM and ERP systems
      • Strong communication and documentation skills

      Continuous Learning

      • Staying current with Oracle EPM updates and incorporating innovations into strategy

      Scope:

      Financial/Budgetary Responsibility : encompasses strategic, technical, and operational responsibilities focused on optimizing financial processes.

      Compensation and Benefits

      • $86,000 - $122,000 /year (commensurate with experience and location)
