      What you will do-

      The Manager Global Transportation Freight Audit & Pay is responsible & accountable for Stryker’s Freight audit and payment processes. You will manage both the Stryker team as well as the business relationship with third party Freight Audit & Pay service providers ensuring freight bill accuracy and on-time payment for the Stryker carrier network. You will collaborate with service providers and data analytics team to define, develop, and implement required performance metrics to illuminate continuous improvement opportunities, and establish control of the process. You will maintain regular and ongoing communications with carriers to ensure timely receipt of all freight bills, including supporting documentation, and reconciliation and resolution of all past due amounts.

      Additional Responsibilities:

      • Act as liaison among Stryker procurement team, Stryker contracted carrier, and FA&P provider in functionally defining contracted rates for upload or amendment

      • Provide on-boarding for Stryker carriers moving onto FA&P platform

      • Monitor freight audit and pay dashboards and/or reports for invoices falling out of automated audit

      • Ensure compliance with carrier payment terms and resolve discrepancies, short-pays, and aging, etc.

      • Investigate audit exceptions requiring Stryker attention, coordinate with logistics/planning teams to associate root cause of invoice failure

      • Initiate dialogue and freight bill correction process for exception invoices associated as carrier root cause

      • Review potential logic changes to reduce exceptions, coordinate dialogue changes with carrier or FA&P provider as needed

      • Use FA&P software to extract and enrich freight pay reports upon ad-hoc or scheduled requests from Stryker resources

      • Responsible for continual improvement within the program, proactively improving processes, forms and data quality

      What you need-

      • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Logistics or other relevant field -required

      • 8+ years of supply chain experience -required, including 4 years of related experience in Global Transportation Management

      • Experience working with or managing third-party freight audit & payment service providers ( i.e. CTSI,US Bank, Cass, Intelligent Audit, Trax Technologies) -required

      • Familiarity with conventional carrier freight contracts and pricing, notably parcel, ocean, air, FTL/LTL -highly preferred

      • Experience in manufacturing/retail operational systems including ERPs, OMS, WMS, TMS -required

      $95,100.00 - $204,000.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

      Travel Percentage: 10%
