- Develop, mature, and manage the internal company Health and Safety standards to meet and/or exceed regulatory requirements.
- Act as leader in Health and Safety who consults and contributes to ensure alignment with industry best practices and Cheniere practices across all facilities.
- Lead organizational improvement efforts with a focus on facility H&S to establish and drive sustainability of the H&S programs across Cheniere.
- Identify, maintain, and implement industry best practices and standards.
- Serve as organizational point of contact as needed among industry trade organization(s).
- Develop and implement internal H&S standards and associated training.
- Support corporate H&S assurance programs.
- Track and evaluate corporate H&S metrics.
- Update, maintain, and audit H&S standards and procedures.
- Working with internal stakeholders to establish a robust corporate governance and assurance process for H&S across Cheniere.
- Integration with key decision makers, site leadership and facility personnel to ensure implementation, understanding and alignment with H&S company standards.
- Provide H&S expertise/consultation to Operating Asset leaders to understand and evaluate H&S compliance risks.
- Provide leadership and/or consultation in incident investigations with the potential to lead investigation, especially high potential events.
- Provide interpretation related to H&S requirements.
- Maintain H&S management within the Cheniere Integrated Management System.
- Creating and maintain an effective internal and external H&S Networks.

- Periodic travel as business requires.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, work at height above ground on stairs and catwalks, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear, smell, type and write.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work indoors and outdoors, and be exposed to year-around weather conditions.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Manager, Corporate Health and Safety will be based in Houston, TX, and is responsible for supporting and providing health and safety technical and engineering leadership to LNG Operations & Maintenance, Pipeline Operations, and Engineering and Construction Teams to ensure activities are conducted in full compliance with the conditions and requirements of all health and safety regulatory requirements, Company Policies and Procedures and industry best practices.
KNOWLEDGE
Possess a working knowledge of governmental regulations and associated codes and standards, safety related regulations (e.g. OSHA, FERC, USCG, DOT, NFPA, and PHSMA) , chemical and hazardous material management, and comprehensive health and safety programs. General understanding of industrial facility operation such as LNG, petrochemical, or other hydrocarbon liquids transportation, storage and processing with respect to application of health and safety requirements, including office safety, from project development through operations (terminal and pipelines). Knowledge of Operational H&S Best Practices; Hazard recognition, exposure and required controls; Safe Work Processes in personal and process safety, occupational health and industrial hygiene; emergency response and Human and Organizational Performance programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Manager, Corporate Health and Safety is responsible for design, implementation, and continuous improvement of health and safety programs, standards, enterprise field support, management systems and developing a team to support and continuously improve these programs.
The Manager will:
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS)
Education, Training and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline. Maintain valid certifications and training required to support job functions as applicable.
Experience: Ten or more (10+) years in H&S management or related function for natural gas transmission, hydrocarbon processing or petrochemical infrastructure facilities. Must have demonstrated experience in a people leadership role, developing programs and implementing enterprise initiatives successfully.

None at this time but may include oversight of 3rd party contractor personnel and/or contingent workers.
FREEDOM TO ACT
The Manager, Corporate Health and Safety has a high degree of aptitude in their field and requires minimal supervision. This position will be empowered to recommend corrective actions or changes as needed and will document actions that may have violated company policy or laws and regulations pursuant to facility regulatory requirements, procedures, permits, or authorizations.
