Job Description

- Ensure monthly payroll completion on time with accuracy for all UAE based employees
- Ensure successful execution of rewards activities such as pay review, STI, LTI etc.
- Lead the insurance renewal process in collaboration with local rewards and HR business partners
- Ensure smooth benefits execution
- Ensure compliance with all work permit related requirements through the government relations team
- Ensure compliance with all government requirements such as pension schemes, reporting, data maintenance etc.
- Collaborate with Legal and external sources to proactively monitor updates from government bodies, and adjust internal processes as needed.
- Ensure maintenance of HR data within corporate systems & processes i.e. SAP / SAC / Payroll / Budgeting etc.
- Lead people data reporting for country, collaborate with stakeholders for key reports
- Ensure policies and procedures are created, maintained and reviewed across HR operations
- Recommend & lead projects related to HR operations and HR service delivery in country
- Act as POC and expert for all HR systems
- Lead audits, report findings and create action plans for key HR activities / data i.e. SAP / Payroll etc.
- Ensure relocations are handled as per company guidelines & upholding excellent service
- Leading the HR operations team, ensuring effective service is delivered as per HR model. Coaching and developing to continuously improve capability and ensuring professional/personal development .
- Excellent communication skills including impactful presentation skills, influencing, negotiating and change management.
- Analytical and able to explain data/analysis clearly
- Excellent MS Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English. Local language advantage.
- Ability to analyse processes/ways of working and recommend improvements
- Knowledge of HR systems in HR data, payroll, government portals
- Knowledge of the UAE visa/work permit requirements and processes/systems
- Knowledge of UAE Labor Law & government initiatives such as pensions, Emiratisation, insurance etc.
- Ability to drive high levels of service quality with a focus on employee experience
- Expertise in HR systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Service Now
- University degree (ideally with HR focus) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR operations capacity (Shared Service/Payroll/etc)
- Experience leading a team across HR operations
- Proven experience with working with HR Processes, including but not limited to, process mapping, process re-engineering, application of service level agreements, and definition of appropriate controls
