      The Venmo Marketing team is a critical driver of Venmo’s growth trajectory, and the Go-to-Market team specifically steers Venmo’s orientation to our customers: understanding of the external landscape and strategic delivery of our evolving value proposition across all channels and partnerships. As the Consumer GTM Lead, you will be responsible for crafting the consumer marketing vision and narrative, partnering closely with cross-functional teams across Venmo on inbound and outbound product marketing initiatives to deliver on Venmo’s strategic plan.

      Job Description:

      What you’ll do:

      • Drive a deep understanding of our consumer total addressable market and target segments across Venmo

      • Develop our consumer narrative and overall marketing calendar , leaning on those customer insights , other external insights and our brand value proposition

      • Oversee a team of three in executing both inbound and outbound product marketing to bring our narrative to life at an ecosystem and also product-specific level. Your team acts as the connective tissue across all of Marketing and other functions at Venmo including Commercial, Product Management, Engineering, Legal and Customer Support

      • Spearhead the Marketing performance and investment forecasting process across the Marketing team , as well as our Analytics roadmap

      • Sharpen the GTM muscle at Venmo, standing up tools and processes to make us even better in meeting our customers’ needs

      What you’ll bring to the table:

      • 8+ years of experience including people leadership, with an additional preference for 2+ years of experience in Product Marketing

      • A knack for storytelling such that you can distill a multitude of insights down into a simple picture

      • An ability to influence and develop followership across multi-disciplinary teams

      • Sharp analytical skills and understanding of marketing measurement methodologies

      • Empathetic leadership and an ability to navigate ambiguity

      • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
