- Identify operational opportunities using field-based insights, evaluate potential solutions using design-thinking methodologies, and develop proposed solutions.
- Manage multiple strategic operational initiatives from initial concept to national launch and implementation, by managing cross-functional teams, developing action-oriented plans and timelines, ensuring objectives are met on time and on budget, and measuring and responding to the effectiveness of implemented programs.
- Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on cross-functional projects that impact field operations
- Represent Operations in cross-functional initiatives, with a goal of minimizing complexity of any roll-out process and subsequent operational procedures, while maintaining a culture of compliance and safety, and driving engagement at every level of the restaurant.
- Collect data, organize, and present recommendations from an Operations perspective from restaurant support center teams on changes to restaurant operations and policies or practices.
- Other activities, duties or responsibilities that are assigned by your supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent, and 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or minimum Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of related work experience. Minimum 2+ years of experience in QSR operations, desired.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred
- Confidence in execution of strategic initiatives.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners.
- Ability to apply sound, strategic thinking, and analysis to address a variety of business situations.
- High level of proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office Suite applications, Adobe Acrobat, customized database applications, and internet research tools.
- Adept at managing and prioritizing competing time sensitive requests while working well in a team atmosphere that may be under pressure.
- Ability to work weekends and extended work schedules as needed.
- Must be willing and able to travel locally within Southern California and to out-of-state restaurant locations, as needed by car or airplane.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment on matters of significance to the company.

- Min Hiring Rate $90,000.00
- Max Hiring Rate $105,000.00

POSITION PURPOSE:The Manager, Operations Innovation directs cross-functional projects that maximize efficiency within restaurant operations. This position recruits, organizes and leads project members, external vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions, using technological and non-technological systems to simplify restaurant operations and drive future growth.
