We are seeking a dynamic strategist and project manager to support the Non-Scripted Entertainment & Music team on the positioning and social media aspects of our live event tentpoles.
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic thinking, creative flair, and strong organizational skills to develop and implement engaging social media strategies. The person is also responsible for the oversight of social media team inclusive of coordinators, designers, and photographers/videographers.
In order to properly inform social media strategies, this individual will collaborate with EPs and other key team members in developing the branding and positioning of each music event as well as lead the development of the materials needed to share with cross-functional departments at TelevisaUnivision on the DNA of each award show.
In addition, this role will support the Director, Commercialization Non-Scripted Entertainment & Music on Sales Activations & Integrations as needed or required.
YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)
• Collaborate with key team members to develop overall positioning and branding for live event tentpoles and develop pitch decks and presentation materials that reflect it
• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions on Instagram for our live event tentpoles
• Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and campaigns of each live event tentpole
• Create high-quality, engaging content including text posts, images, and videos for Instagram
• Oversee the design and work with designers on visually appealing graphics and multimedia elements to support our live event tentpoles on Instagram and to share across TU
• Assist the photography team on all creative and IT needs, administrative and credentialing and organizing/distributing content to respective internal teams
• Monitor social media platforms for trends, insights, and opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly as well as prepare social media reports post events for learnings & planning
• Support Commercialization team on the ideation and execution of social media RFPs
YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Bilingual with excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building
• Proven experience managing social media accounts, developing successful strategies for growth and engagement preferably for live music events and managing teams accordingly
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and feel comfortable in ambiguous environments
• Experience with live TV and social production and producing/interviewing talent
• Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) to create visually appealing decks
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally
• Knowledge of Latin music, artists and pop culture is a plus
