- The manager will develop, coordinate, and maintain financial, schedule, estimate, budget, resource, procurement, risk, and other data.
- The manager will also develop, coordinate, and maintain status & variance reporting and executive dashboards for the financial aspects, energy savings and schedules for programs, including Key Performance Indices (KPI’s).
- This position provides direction on strategic/tactical technical initiatives and decisions that have a major impact on Program Controls / Operations and set direction for the Program Controls in regard to issues that impact the business plans, as well as program goals as established by the BPU.
- The manager must demonstrate leadership in their role and ability to stand-in for the department Director when required and will have direct supervision of MAST employees. The position will correlate industry Standards like GAAP and SOX principles to Business Requirements.
- As an employee of PSE&G, you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field with at least 10 years of experience with Project Controls, SAP or equivalent ERP systems and Project/Program Management Software. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 14 years of related experience in Project Controls, SAP or equivalent ERP system and Project Management software
- Demonstrated experience in mitigating Project Controls’ related issues.
- Previous leadership / supervisory experience and experience in training and developing others.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of various MS Office computer programs and PC applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience presenting technical information to senior leadership teams and audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively interacting with external and internal stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Construction or Business discipline
- Experience in Energy Efficiency program management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Lean Six Sigma

Job Summary
This position manages and oversees Program Scope coordination; Program Execution Plan input, preparation, coordination, monitoring, Program Estimate, assist in project schedule development, Contractor coordination and management; Invoice and Accrual Management; Program management assistance; Integrated cost, investment, energy savings and scheduling; Total Program & Annual Budget development; Financial analysis; Cost accounting and forecasting; Variance analysis; Performance reporting; Program change management; Risk & Contingency. This position implements standard cost, schedule, investment, energy savings and risk programs, processes, and practices to ensure RES programs are performed in accordance with approved budgets and schedules.
