      Position Summary:

      ultra focused – Work together to fearlessly uncover new possibilities

      The Manager, Quality Systems Global Learning, supports operational efficiency for training processes at Ultragenyx. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication, and relationship-building with stakeholders and subject matter experts.

      Work Model:

      Flex - Typically 2-3 days onsite weekly, depending on business needs, with specific days set by the location.

      Responsibilities:

      Learning Management System (LMS) User Management and Support

      • Create, update, and deactivate user accounts.
      • Monitor and resolve access issues promptly.
      • Provide technical support to end-users, instructors, and course designers.
      • Coordinate with content authors and training leads to deploy training.

      Process Management, Troubleshooting and Improvement

      • Work with LMS IT System Owner and vendor to resolve issues.
      • Build relationships with key stakeholders.
      • Identify and recommend workflow improvements.
      • Provide reporting and analytics on user activity and compliance.
      • Participate in CAPA processes for deviations and regulatory findings.

      Documentation

      • Maintain SOPs and user guides for LMS.
      • Support inspection readiness activities.
      • Develop best practices and Job Aids for LMS community.
      • Assist content owners during review processes.

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
      • At least 6 years in training organizations with LMS admin responsibilities, including 2 years in a GxP environment.
      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
      • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
      • Flexible, solution-oriented, detail-focused.
      • Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel; experience with ServiceNow and Veeva is a plus.

      The annual salary range for this full-time role is $137,300—$169,600 USD, based on location and experience. It includes bonuses and equity incentives.
