      Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Manager, Repair sales to promote innovative solutions with customers.

      Essential Responsibilities

      • Prospect existing accounts for repair sales opportunities
      • Consult with customers on upgrades relating to enhancing safety or reliability
      • Survey existing accounts for obsolescence – propose, educate, and consult with customer
      • Responsible for independent site surveying of elevator equipment
      • Ensure that all mechanic’s leads are proposed within 5 business days
      • Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers
      • Follow-up on Proposals until formally dispositioned
      • Partner with Client Relationship Managers to identify repair leads with existing customer base.
      • Create detailed capital planners for all customers
      • Manage opportunities in the CRM pipeline and provide accurate forecasting

      Education / Certifications

      • Bachelor’s Degree required

      Basic Qualifications

      • Proven track record selling and negotiating service contracts
      • Comfortable with cold-calling current and future customers with repair opportunities
      • Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
      • Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
      • Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
      • Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
      • Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Elevator industry experience a plus
      • Prior sales experience preferred
