Bumble is looking for a Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, to assist with public filings and SEC regulations for Bumble Inc. The position has an emphasis on stock-based compensation and equity accounting as part of our SEC Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting team. Additional responsibilities include preparation of footnote disclosures and variance analyses.

This position will work across the finance organization as well as other key constituents such as Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, People and Culture and other business partners. You will join an amazing team of Accounting and Finance professionals, united in the mission to create a world where all relationships are healthy and equitable.

This position is a U.S. remote position.

WHAT YOU WILL DO HERE:

• Monitor, track and report all stock option, restricted stock, restricted stock unit and other equity award grants, modifications, exercises, forfeitures, and cancellations across the Company, issued by the parent and subsidiaries.

• Record stock-based compensation expense entries on a quarterly basis.

• Prepare Black Scholes valuation for stock options granted to employees, as needed.

• Coordinate with the team to prepare stock-based compensation (U.S. GAAP) related disclosures for the Company’s quarterly and annual financial statements.

• Coordinate with the team on drafting technical accounting memos for complex stock-based compensation and equity arrangements, as necessary.

• Calculate and report on quarterly earnings per share (EPS).

• Execute controls to support compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 in the stock-based compensation and equity areas.

• Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules for statement of changes in stockholder’s equity.

• Assist in enhancing and documenting equity-related procedures and policies.

• Assist with the preparation of stock-plan-related reports, insights, and analysis for Management, FP&A, Finance, People and Legal, as needed.

• Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, footnote disclosures and earnings press release.

• Support the internal and external quarterly and annual review/audit engagements by preparing PBC lists and schedules.

• Special projects as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in public accounting or 8+ years of a mix of public and private

• Proficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP, specifically as it relates to stock-based compensation (ASC 718) accounting and earnings per share (ASC 260)

• Strong Excel skills, the ability to manipulate large data sets, and create complex pivot tables

• Familiarity with equity software tools (Schwab Equity View)

• CPA designation required; Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

Base Compensation Range: $91,600.00 - $180,000.00. For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location.
