What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the platform engineering team, managing both backend and frontend development
- Oversee architecture, infrastructure, and dev operations for full-stack applications
- Drive the development of backend micro-services and applications, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Guide deployment and troubleshooting of services using Kubernetes on AWS cloud environments
- Maintain visibility into product roadmap objectives and communicate updates across teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a managerial role
- Experience in full-stack software development
- Extensive experience developing backend micro-services and applications
- Hands-on experience with the Go programming language
- Strong communication skills to work within and across teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in remote-first environments and global teams
- Familiarity with performance testing
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure infrastructure
- Understanding of cloud technologies, big data, and SaaS products
- Experience planning, tracking, delivering, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
