What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage internal departmental state political research, overseeing team contributions to larger projects
- Lead research strategy in target states and monitor climate action and implementation
- Create tracking systems on climate politics in critical states and identify research opportunities
- Generate actionable research for communication materials and campaign tactics
- Collaborate with teams to manage research-driven projects and campaigns
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5 years of relevant work experience in political research
- 2 years of people and/or project management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workplace
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working on state-based issues or campaigns
- Interest in climate justice advocacy
