- Leads a team of analysts and ensures that all work is delivered timely , meets customer specifications, uses standardized methods, and adheres to data quality standards. Advocates for supply chain’s analytics mission, vision, and strategy within the enterprise . Operate s analytics team using Agile project management techniques to enable consistent process for managing incoming work and deliverables.
- Manages a team of analysts. Regularly provides feedback and cultivates opportunities for professional development. Creates and supports a culture of employee engagement, accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency.
- Translates high-level business problems into solutions using data-driven modeling and analysis. Uses analytical skills to work with large and complex datasets, build decision-support tools, and develop recommendations to guide business decisions.
- Ensures that deliverables meet the needs of the organization and align with supply chain Advocate Health e nterprise strategic imperatives. Understands and contributes to the strategic direction set by senior leadership as it relates to team goals.
- Accountable for supply chain analytics pipeline and roadmap within assigned scope of responsibility and advocates for supply chain decision support tools and capabilities to leadership/key stakeholders across Advocate Health.
- Guides the development and tracks KPIs as defined by supply chain leadership to monitor supply expense, operational efficiency, clinical variation, and product utilization across the organization.
- Organizes information and recommendations into presentation quality materials including executive level presentations for use in management meetings. Meets with and delivers analytics to enterprise leaders and executives, as required .
- Cultivates and maintains strong partnerships with key stakeholders inside and outside of supply chain across all regions. Provides information and counsel to supply chain leadership and ensures high-quality customer service is provided to internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluates and implements best-in-class analytics functionality to ensure that Advocate Health is using leading edge analytics tools and capabilities. Manages relationships with third party software vendors and leads new application implementations.
- Defines and implements data management practices and standards to ensure reporting tools are accurate , complete, secure, and reliable.
- Develops and maintains a fundamental understanding of how clinical workflows and other business functions impact supply chain strategy.
- Superior analytical skills. Able to plan and execute complex analyses and reports. Able to bring analytical projects to completion .
- Exceedingly strong communication skills, presentation skills and executive presence required .
- Demonstrated success using data from disparate sources to perform analytics in support of a variety of business initiatives. Able to cleanse, match, organize and audit data.
- Advanced working knowledge of software applications including, but not limited to: Power BI, Tableau, Axiom, Strata, Business Objects, Epic, Oracle Cloud, Workday
- Demonstrated knowledge of various supply chain functions, processes, and systems. Knowledge of ERP data structures and functionality.
- Advanced understanding of healthcare applications and terminology, patient care environments, needs and priorities of patient care personnel is preferred.
- Able to interact with other professionals at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational/multi-tasking skills. This individual must be capable of working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Ability to mentor, coach and motivate employees.
- This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

Fully remote role, no preference on location.
The ideal candidate would posses knowledge of Power BI, WorkDay, and SQL Database Management Systems. Experience managing a team of technical analysts would be highly preferred.
Pay Range
$50.05 - $75.10MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
License/Registration/Certification Required: Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) preferred.
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree required or 5 years of direct relevant work experience in healthcare supply chain analytics will be considered in lieu of a degree .
Experience Required: Typically requires at least 3 years’ experience in an analytics-focused role, preferably in supply chain or healthcare finance. Non - healthcare industry experience will be considered in lieu of direct healthcare experience . Experience in a leadership or managerial role overseeing a purchasing tea m highly preferred .
