What We Are Doing:
Come join the Signals Reconnaissance Program within RMS to craft and develop outstanding solutions! The Signals Reconnaissance family of programs supports the C4ISR Line of Business (Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) as well as Independent Research and Development (IRAD) efforts.
These systems demand development of advanced software solutions as well as Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems, and information technology related responsibilities including design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Who You Are:
The Signals Reconnaissance Program is looking for an innovative and creative technical lead to provide systems engineering integration & test (SEIT) leadership across the Signals Reconnaissance family of programs.
The Work:
* Shaping and driving internal SEIT strategy, planning, and execution for the Signals Reconnaissance family of programs.
* Leading approximately 10 direct reports and overseeing systems engineering on multiple projects
* Managing the staffing and resource allocation within the software domain. This includes recruiting and hiring candidates.
* Conducting performance evaluations, promotions, and career planning activities.
* Providing technical direction to the broader SEIT team responsible for integrating, testing, and deploying software and hardware products for multifaceted integrated systems.
* Facilitating and performing SEIT team planning and coordination with multiple discipline engineering/maintenance teams to accomplish technical program milestones and issue resolution.
* Supporting dialog with external customers to ensure program objectives are maintained.
* Participating in SEIT team responsibilities including developing test procedures, defining requirement verification methods, integrating products into the larger ground system, troubleshooting errors, and working closely with Software and Hardware engineers as part of an Agile Team.
* Driving SEIT team adoption of digital transformation initiatives to include Agile, MBSE, DevSecOps, and Automated Test.
* Support Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) efforts on multiple projects
* Guiding and/or supporting the integration of system of systems that include mission planning, communication scheduling, command and control
* Supporting proposals and ROMs by authoring/reviewing detailed Basis of Estimates and supporting compliance reviews.
* Travel (up to 10%) to customer facilities for integration and deployment events with some amount of overtime required during events.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
