      What You Will Be Doing:

      As a leader in Arrow’s Corporate Strategy and Technology Office, the Managing Director Strategy & Corporate Development is responsible for driving and orchestrating projects focused on leading Arrow to make the best strategic choices in support of our business transformation goals. The position will be responsible for partnering with business leaders to support near-term and longer-term strategy development across critical areas, including business transformation, M&A, investment planning, partnership advancement, customer value prop definition, operating model modernization, and more. This cross-collaborative role engages and influences a broad set of organizations including product, sales, engineering, marketing, finance, and operations to lead projects and develop business unit strategy.

      • Lead strategic business planning (annual and 5 year) discussions for assigned business group(s) to formulate and implement organic/inorganic strategies that will accelerate the business unit’s revenue growth and profitability. Drive collaboration efforts to ensure that business plans align with the overall Arrow enterprise plans.

      • Develop a thorough understanding of the business group’s key strategic needs and be responsible for the creation of M&A pipeline and portfolio strategy. Collaborate with business and corporate stakeholders to cultivate M&A targets and lead transactions.

      • Build critical, insightful analyses of suppliers, competitors, customers, and ecosystem participants in a manner that drives novel points of view and actionable strategic options.

      • Research and conduct quantitative analysis for our business leaders including strategic assessment, financial analysis, opportunity sizing, industry context, operational assessments, and product strategy.

      What we are looking for:

      • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and a post graduate degree are required.

      • 5-10 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, corporate development, investment banking, or equivalent experience. Experience in a top-tier strategy firm and investment bank is desirable.

      • Proven track record of unlocking growth options at the intersection of technology and business spearheading organizational, operational, and technological change.

      • Understanding of Arrow's business, business model and competitive position in the market across the majority of our business groups and product lines.

      • Strong demonstrated analytical, communication and influencing skills. Must be able to influence at the Executive level across the entire organization.

      • Demonstrated problem-solving orientation with ability to leverage both quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive decision making.

      • Proven ability to excel in an innovative, ambiguous, multi stakeholder, fast-paced environment, with rapid exploration and ability to execute.

      Work Arrangement: Hybrid: 3days in an Arrow office/2days work from home.

      Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

      $150,900.00 - $350,013.13

      Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
