      About the department


      Emerging Technologies (ET) is a newly established SVP area in Novo Nordisk. We have a growing pipeline of new products, many of which are based on emerging technology platforms coming into Product Supply via internal development projects and externally acquired assets. ET is well-known for having a pioneering spirit as well as a curious and daring approach and we play a key role in developing and producing future treatments for millions of patients around the world.


      Our department, Manufacturing Development Life Cycle Management employs approximately 40 highly skilled and motivated employees with the missions to maintain and optimize products on the market. Our growing portfolio currently holds solid-dose products within Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), diabetes and obesity.


      The position


      In this position you will use your acquired scientific and expert knowledge to support, solve problems and optimize the manufacturing processes. In time, you will use your expert knowledge to set direction on cross-functional projects and decisions. You will take part in:
      • Problem-solving support to the production sites in our global network in critical cases.
      • Perform development studies hands-on in the production facilities
      • Maintain documents, prepare quality statements, rationales and manage changes to the process.
      • Drive or participate in cross-functional projects to develop and optimize the manufacturing process
      • Solve technical challenges related to analytical and production equipment, such as, blenders, dry granulators, tablet machines, in-process control equipment and process analytical technologies (PAT).
      • Powder characterization to improve tablet production processes

      As our new Manufacturing Development Professional you will use your data and analytical skills to find the best solutions to ensure product quality is maintained. You will have a versatile working day with different types of tasks, with both short and long deadlines.

      The position is located in Måløv and can include 10-20 travel days.

      Qualification


      • You hold a master’s degree in science within Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or a similar field.
      • You have experience within the field of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) or manufacturing, e.g., process or product support, transfer, or process validation.
      • You have knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry and are used to following GMP
      • Experience within oral formulation and tablet production will be an advantage.
      • You possess good communication skills in both oral and written English and preferable also Danish.
