      We are looking for a Manufacturing Lead to join our talented team in beautiful Austin, TX. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:

      • Manage a team of operators by generating daily job assignment schedules, overseeing the execution of their job responsibilities, resolving minor team conflicts, and training/coaching less experienced operators.

      • Perform complex manufacturing tasks.

      • Setup, operate, adjust, optimize and trouble-shoot production.

      • Coordinate and support production activities per written documentation and approved operating procedures (WIs, OPs, EOPs).

      • Provide feedback on processes and documentation to engineers.

      • Effectively communicate with teammates, other Leads, and Supervisor.

      • Accurately record and complete manufacturing documentation. Ensure team is completing all quality documentation correctly and in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.

      • Conduct basic to complex quality visual and dimensional inspection of parts.

      • Process/monitor engineering experiments by following written and/ or verbal instructions.

      • Maintain clean and orderly workstation lines, supply racks, and parts storage bins.

      • Communicate and report issues to supervisor and appropriate support group.

      • Participate in improvement activities related to process or safety.

      Education and Experience:

      • High school diploma or equivalent; and 5 or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. AA degree a plus.

      • Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude when working with equipment and tools

      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

      • Excel and MS Word

      • Ability to work varying shifts and overtime as required

      • Familiarity with SDS documents

      • Ability to use and read a variety of measuring devices (e.g. calipers)
