What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase engagement and generate leads
- Manage social media presence, including content creation and performance tracking
- Create compelling content for various platforms including websites, emails, and social media
- Oversee website updates and collaborate with vendors for SEO optimization and enhancements
- Design digital marketing assets and support the creation of presentation materials
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, content strategy, or related field, preferably in a nonprofit or social enterprise
- Proven success in managing multichannel marketing campaigns with a focus on lead generation and engagement
- Strong writing and editing skills with experience in storytelling and content optimization
- Experience with SEO/SEM strategies and web content management
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Reside or have lived experience in a rural community for more than 5 years
- Skilled in basic video editing for short-form content creation
- Expertise with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and WordPress
- A collaborative spirit with a passion for rural economic development and social impact
