      The Marketing & Growth Strategy Lead reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and provides strategic support to JPMC's International Consumer Bank in the expansion of its marketing activities and operations across European markets. This role focuses on harnessing marketing processes, technologies, and capabilities to drive scalable, efficient growth.

      As a Marketing Strategy Lead in Marketing department you will possess strong commercial and financial acumen to understand the bank's customer, revenue, and cost dynamics, have a robust understanding of the full marketing mix, brand and data lead marketing strategies and will collaborate with cross-functional marketing, data, commercial, finance and agency partner teams across Europe.

      Job responsibilities

      • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) and optimize marketing spend for maximum financial returns.
      • Drive marketing innovation with a focus on cost-effective scaling across lines of business and markets, leveraging AI, workflow automation, and firmwide LLM capabilities.
      • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, optimizing processes for efficiency, scalability, and quality.
      • Utilize data analysis to inform marketing strategies and implement process improvements to enhance operations and drive business growth.
      • Collaborate with in-house operations, research, and product teams, as well as agency partners across Europe, to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
      • Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and marketing leadership to ensure strategies align with business goals and targets.
      • Scale the marketing operating model to new markets, lines of business, and products, ensuring adaptability and efficiency for growth across diverse regions.
      • Deliver localized marketing and content requirements while leveraging central team efficiencies for media, brand, and communications.
      • Collaborate with leadership, product, and finance teams to prepare market entry strategies, plans, and budgets that align with business strategy and cost parameters.
      • Utilize commercial and financial acumen to analyze customer, revenue, and cost dynamics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize marketing strategies.
      • Create business cases to support strategic marketing investments and drive efficiencies.

      Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field;
      • Proven experience in a senior marketing role within the financial services industry or as a consultant in a leading consultancy working with finance and banking clients
      • Strong understanding of the European market, including regulatory and cultural nuances.
      • Demonstrated success in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies.
      • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
      • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
      • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
      • Commercial and financial acumen to understand customer, revenue, and cost dynamics.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
      • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

      Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

      • Proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
      • MBA preferred.
